01 Lair3.jpg Lair is a Live Action Role Playing game that involves fantasy battle game play. You will have the freedom to envision a fantasy character to embody within the loose constructs of the game. When we play there will be two factions battling each other for “Eternal Glory.”

Within each team there are specific roles that move things along. The main goal is to keep your King or Queen alive. For this particular battle you will fight for either the Celestial Queen or the Bog Goblin King, choose your team wisely.

There are also the following major roles:
The Wizard (Casts unique spells, one per team)
The Healer (Can heal or revive players from their side, involves a lot of running, one per team)

There are also other special roles not beholden to any team:
The Necromancer (Can raise up the dead to create an army of the undead. Just one per game)
The Moss Monster (Unhinged wild character that causes chaos and confusion. Just one per game)
The Bards (We need a small group of Musicians to create the soundtrack to our battle, ideally just 2 or 3)
The Dungeon Rats (A special role usually played by the youngest/kids involved in the game. They are invincible and are released intermittently during battle to the terror of both warring sides)
Dungeon Guardian(s) (We will need some parents of the dungeon rats to watch over our rats until they are ready to be released, could be nice to rattle some chains...)

We will figure out the main roles beforehand. If you don’t have a main role you can dress in whatever you envision evokes fantasy vibes and represents your team. This is very loose. Have fun with it.
We will provide the tools and cardboard to construct swords and shields the day of the game. Only cardboard swords are used in gameplay. Only hits to limbs, chest and back allowed, no headshots!
